Pictures of my punkstuck Rose cosplay! It’s not quite finished yet; I still need to get fingerless gloves and I didn’t have my headphones around my neck. I’m also contemplating making her hubtopband (the green computer thing she wears on her head). I already made her Grimoire and Thorns of Oglogoth, as shown in the pictures. And yes, I did draw the three interior pages that are canon in Homestuck.

I actually put most of this together two days ago, one day before the Skateville meetup (which was super fun btw and I posted pictures of it yesterday under the tag skatevillestuck and a couple others). The designs on the clothes were bleached on using just normal bleach. If anyone wants the instructions on how to bleach designs onto fabric, put your email in my ask box and I’ll send you the file. The tentacles were drawn on by my moirail and then painted in with bleach, which differs from the instructions. They turned out a little lighter than I expected (I wanted the shirt and pants to be about the same shade), but it still looks awesome in my opinion.

I’ll be wearing this cosplay to Anime Detour in April, so come and say hi if you see me!
